December 2006 thru January 2007 - Cheryl and Jim at Dee Light
.. on Sunday ( New Years Eve Day ) the 31st of December Katie and Aimee to the Car and went shopping on Sanibel and the rest of us took Lil Dee to the North end of North Captiva and had lunch at Barnical Phil's .. we polished off our lunch with yup Ice Cream at Krabby Amy's .. on our return trip to Dee Light we went in to the area of North Captiva where Hurricane Charley cut the Island in half .. we also found a LARGE flock of Snow White Pelicans that were about the size of Turkeys ..

.. on Monday January 01st 2007 the weather that has been heading our direction has just started to move in and we woke up to overcast / grey Skies .. Betty and Cheryl started the day out with a Canoe ride .. we spent much of the day getting ready for our return trip to Fort Myers in the morning .. Cheryl and Katie also did some long overdue Discount Mall Shopping .. after dinner Katie and Aimee moved their 'stuff' to the Condo that their father has rented for the Holiday Week .. so Autumn had the Back Deck to her self for the first time in a number of days ..

.. on Tuesday the 2nd we had to wait for the Tide to be high enough for our 5 foot Draft to pass thru the Marked Marina Channel to the ICW .. with a Full Moon coming up on January 3rd the Highs and Lows have been higher and lower than normal ..
.. we ended up heading out of Tween-Waters Marina at about noon .. we did not have any problems at all with the 'skinny' parts of the Marinas Market Channel that leads out to the ICW .. we had Dee Light docked and all settled in at Legacy by 02:30 pm ..
