.. on September 19th 2006 a Rigging Crew from Allied Crane and Rigging ( Naples FL ) moved two Cranes into our Parking Lot at Legacy Harbour Marina .. I have been in construction all my life but I have never seen the erection of a Jib Crane like this one sooooo I was interested watching each step of the Riggers .. September 20th .. the task for the day was to set up the 140 Ton Jib Lorain Crane for use on the Construction of the Condos that are going up next to our Marina .. shortly after the rigging started it was discovered that the Main Cable for the Lorain had to be replaced .. apparently when it was installed wrong causing abnormal wear to the Cable ..
